Terms of Service

The conditions for using MyGamingLog. Short on purpose, and written to be read.

Last updated 3 October 2026German consumer law

1. Scope

These Terms govern your use of MyGamingLog (“the Service”), operated by Kadim Özdemir (see Imprint). They apply to everyone who registers an account or uses features that require signing in. You accept them by ticking the box when you register, or when we ask you to accept a new version.

2. The Service

MyGamingLog lets you manage game libraries from Steam, PSN, and Xbox in one place, view achievements and play times, write reviews, and interact with other users. The Service is free.

Riot features (your League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics rank) are available once Riot Games has approved our production access; until then they are limited to testing.

3. Account

You must be at least 16 years old to create or keep an account. If you are younger, please do not register; a parent or guardian can contact us if they believe an account was created for you.

Personalised features require an account. You provide accurate information at registration, keep your sign-in confidential, and use only one account.

You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

4. Connected storefronts and Riot Games

Connecting Steam, PSN, or Xbox happens on your initiative and authorisation. We do not control whether the providers permit third-party API use; if a provider restricts access, affected features may be disabled.

Riot-powered features (League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics) show official Riot data for the account you link, and you may only link a Riot account you own. MyGamingLog is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Riot Games.

5. User content

Reviews, messages, group posts, and profile images remain yours. You grant us a simple, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence for the duration of your account use, to store and display that content as required to run the Service. Messages you posted in a group stay visible to that group after you delete your account, without your name.

You warrant that your content does not infringe third-party rights and is not unlawful.

6. What is not allowed

  • Content that is illegal.
  • Harassing, threatening or demeaning a person.
  • Sexually explicit content.
  • Revealing someone's private data.
  • Spam or advertising, including mass messages.
  • Impersonating another person or MyGamingLog.
  • Automated access (scraping, bots) without our written permission.
  • Attacking or overloading the Service, getting around its limits or visibility rules, or using another account to evade a restriction or to manipulate scores.

An automatic word filter rejects some terms when you post a comment or choose a username or group name; everything else is reviewed by a person.

7. Moderation and termination

Anyone can report a comment or a profile with the Report button, or anything else by email to the address in the Imprint. A person reviews every report; we do not make automated decisions.

If content breaks these Terms or the law, we hide or remove it; hidden text is kept so the decision can be disputed. On repeated or serious violations we time out or close the account. We tell the affected member what we did, why, and how to object: in a notice on the site, and for a timeout or closure also on the sign-in page.

Before we close an account permanently we tell you the reason and give you seven days to reply, unless immediate action is needed (illegal content, threats, spam bots); then we inform you right afterwards and you can still reply.

You can object within six months by writing to the address in the Imprint; a person reviews the objection within two weeks. You may also go to court.

You can end the contract at any time by deleting your account. We can end it with two weeks' notice, or without notice for a serious violation.

8. Availability

We do not guarantee any specific uptime. Maintenance, hosting-partner outages, or third-party API outages may cause interruptions.

9. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, and under the Produkthaftungsgesetz.

For slight negligence we are liable only if we breach an obligation whose fulfilment is essential to the contract and on which you may rely (cardinal obligation), and then only for the damage that was foreseeable and typical for this kind of contract. Any further liability for slight negligence is excluded. The limitations in this section do not apply to the cases named in the first paragraph.

We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data sourced from third-party providers.

10. Changes to these terms

We may change these Terms when the law, the features of the Service or the way we run it change. Every change gets a new version date, shown at the top of this page. For a change that affects your rights or duties we ask you to read and accept the new version the next time you sign in; until you do, you cannot use the signed-in parts of the Service, and you can delete your account at any time instead of accepting. Purely editorial changes (typos, clearer wording, contact details) do not require a new acceptance.

11. Governing law

German law applies, to the exclusion of the UN CISG. Consumers retain the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of their habitual residence.

12. Invalid provisions

If a provision of these Terms is invalid, the rest stays in effect, and the statutory rules apply in place of the invalid provision (§306 BGB).
